I know what you are thinking what does a California girl know about the 10 warmest winter jackets and boots?? Well, since we spend as much time as we can in Jackson Hole, Wyoming I know cold. I have researched and researched and then tested all of these products and they are the warmest you will find! The durability for kids is very important so of course, my boys have worn all of these choices for the past few winters. I have a husband who was never cold until we started spending winters in Wyoming where it is definitely cold. I have also picked these 10 jackets and boots for how comfortable they are to wear not just for warmth. You can have a warm coat yet it is too heavy to wear or boots that are too clunky. So if you want to stay cozy and comfy this winter this is the list for you!

Marmot Women’s Montreal Coat

This coat is so warm with 700 down fill, down defender,  and the perfect length. The hood keeps you warm and stylish and is removable. Fleece lined pockets and chest area are an added bonus. I am usually a xsmall, however, I sized up to be able to wear a fleece or sweater underneath.  I love this coat!!

Columbia Women’s Ice Maiden ll Slip Boot

Not only do these boots keep your feet and legs toasty warm they weigh practically nothing and have the best grip on snow and ice. These boots run true to size.

Marmot Men’s Guide Down Hoody

This Jacket is super warm with 700 fill down, down defender, and a hood. With a nice simple style, this jacket would please most guys. My husband likes it because it is warm but not heavy or bulky. We found this jacket to run true to size.

Pajar Men’s Canada Trooper

These boots are from Canada need I say more! They are incredibly warm, lightweight and have a fantastic grip on ice and snow. I think these are great looking men’s boots however they run really small I recommend sizing a full size up.

Columbia Kids Lightning Lift Jacket

My boys have worn this jacket on the slopes for the past 3 years. They are warm, waterproof/windproof and not bulky at all. They are able to move really well in this jacket. This jacket has an attached storm hood, fleece-lined pockets, reflective tape and adjustable cuffs. A great jacket for just playing in the snow as well!

Columbia Ice Slope ll Pant

These pants are perfect on the slopes or just playing in the snow. With an adjustable waist called the outgrow system, waterproof fabric, insulated, internal leg gaiter, and a cargo pocket you really can’t ask for much more. The durability is fantastic as I have passed these down. I usually have them wear REI Co-op Merino Mid Weight Base Layer under these pants.

Columbia Kids Powder Lite Puffer Jacket

This jacket is perfect for around town. My boys have worn these for at least 4 years we love them for camping and just running around when it is super cold. I usually have them wear a Columbia Glacial Half Zip Fleece under the jacket and they are cozy warm!

Sorel Kids Flurry

These boots not only keep their feet warm they keep the snow out! Another plus is they are able to take them on and off by themselves!!! They have great tread and I usually pair wool socks to maximize the warmth!

Northface Denali Thermal Hat

This beanie is the warmest most comfortable beanie I have ever worn. Over the years I have acquired at least 4 of these since they come in the most fun colors! My boys love how soft they are and it keeps them toasty through all of those snowball fights!

Northface DenaliThermall Scarf

Just like the hat this scarf is warm and cozy and comes in so many fun colors! The regular scarf runs short so if you are tall you might want to purchase the infinity scarf.

I hope this list helps you stay warm cozy in all of your winter adventures!
